I’m on a journey to capture the essence of trees. Growing up along the seacoast and now spending countless hours exploring woodlands, I’ve always felt at home in nature. Whether I’m standing beneath an ancient tree or watching waves roll onto a rocky shore, I’m drawn to places that slow us down and remind us of something larger than ourselves. When I’m in the woods, I find myself drawn to trees not just for their beauty, but for the stories they seem to carry. Each tree has its own character, shaped by time, weather, and the challenges it has endured. When I photograph a tree, I’m trying to capture more than its appearance. I’m looking for the feeling it creates—the quiet strength, resilience, solitude, or sense of wonder that I experience standing in its presence.
